The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), the largest not-for-profit trade association of independent publishers, a leader for member benefits, education, and advocacy, has announced a call for entries for the 27th Annual IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards™. Regarded as one of the highest national honors in small and independent publishing, the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards includes 55 categories recognizing excellence in both editorial and design. The Awards are unique in that the entrants receive direct feedback on their submissions. The actual judging forms are returned to all participating publishers.
This is a fantastic chance to have your work recognized on national level. However, you need to be a member of the IBPA in order to enter the contest. SDP Publishing is a member of IBPA and we can offer our authors the opportunity to submit their books for this contest. Publishers of print books with a copyright date of 2014 may enter the competition. To assist the judges and ensure they have enough time to review each book, there are two deadlines: the first on September 30, 2014 and the second on December 15, 2014.
