Saturday, March 16, at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa, Route 132 in Hyannis, Lisa Akoury-Ross, of SDP Publishing Solutions, will be featured at the Cape Cod Writers Center event, How to Happily be Self-Published – An All-Day Workshop by the Professionals. The event will run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
In her session, from 9:30 – 11:30 AM, Lisa will discuss why self/indie publishing is a viable option for authors today. Who are the top selling indie authors and how did they do it? She’ll discuss three distinct ways to go about publishing, what determines when an author publishes an e-book, print, or both, and the top 10 questions authors should ask an indie publisher before committing to one.
All of these informative workshops will focus on how authors can self-publish their books.
Registration and pre-payment is required. The cost for the day is $65 for CCWC members and $75 for non-members who register by March 14th. For those who do not pre-register, the cost will be $75 for members and $85 for non-members the day of the workshop.
