At SDP Publishing, we love it when our authors and their books get recognized by reviewers, bloggers, or other media outlets! This year has been a great one for many of authors who have received awards, great reviews, news coverage, and mentions on prominent blogs in their fields. Looking back on the year, we’re very proud of all of our authors and their successes. Congratulations to all of our authors who have been recognized and our authors who released books this year. We can’t wait to see what 2015 will bring! Below are some of the highlights from 2014.

Here is some of what the judge had to say:
“This was a heart wrenching story that still manages to capture you, inspire you, and leave you with a smile. . . . The author’s voice is smooth and professional and she has a way with words that will pull you in and entertain you. . . . In fact, I found it really hard to part with. I’m very impressed with the skill here. . . . All in all a wonderful read that I highly recommend.”
—Judge, 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards
In addition to great commentary from the judge, the book also received a 5/5 for Production Quality and Cover Design, and a 5/5 for Character Appeal and Development. Congratulations, Rosemary!

Congratulations, Phyllis! You can read the endorsement below.
“Phyllis Brown did not sit idly by as her husband’s dementia deepened. Using every opportunity along with her creative resourcefulness she helped her husband to enjoy life to its fullest, adjusting to his condition, for as long as he lived. She shares freely what worked for them in the form of strategies and tips along with suggested activities. If asked to recommend one book as a resource to caregivers, it would be Phyllis Brown’s book.” ~Patricia White, Memories From My Life Blog, Founder, PostersAsTherapy.com http://memoriesfrommylife.wordpress.com/

Rebello said, “The reason I wrote it was to raise the bar in terms of how kids understand everyday medical practice. If this kind of knowledge was part of a child’s consciousness, like how they would understand construction. So why not understand what we do as surgeons?”
